[Oe List ...] Going on to Perfection

Guided by the UMW (United Methodist Women) Reading Program, I bought a copy 
 of "A Perfect Love: Understanding John Wesley's "A Plain Account of 
Christian  Perfection'  Expanded Edition".
 
It is available at cokesbury.  I had also been somewhat interested in  that 
phrase in ordination of United Methodist Clergy, about "going on to  
perfection".  The book helped a lot!
 
I agree with Randy Williams that it may be an outdated use, because it take 
 so much re-interpretation.  But Wesley outlines the idea quite well.
