Thanks, Bill. I recommend The Physics of Miracles, by Richard  Bartlett, 
who says, "I was an altar boy. Now I'm just an altered boy." My  seminar with 
him Halloween weekend was phenomenal.

Mark, that book by Robin is but one of many that has been published in  the 
last few years. Because of the emerging (new) worldview the books I  have 
read are "Jesus" (Jesus Seminar)  Bishop Spong's, "Eternal  Life" and Brian 
D. Mclaren "Everything must change" There  are countless others authors who 
have picked up the task of  deconstructing and re-constructing the story of 
Jesus from the worldview of  the Mechanical - Materialistic universe to the 
new emerging worldview that is  presently being formed. The task or us is to 
reconstruct a new story and  theological framework for the Jesus 
experience.(remember RS-1). 
 
The best introduction I have read that pulls together the direction,  
characteristics, and components of the new emerging worldview is a book  by 
Edmund I. Bourne titled "The Global Shift" (How a New worldview is  transforming 
Humanity)
