[Oe List ...] The project

Karen,

I'm not sure exactly what SK meant, but it brings to mind a quote by Martin Buber: "Listen to what is emerging in the course of being in the world--not to be supported by it, but to participate in having it emerge as it wants to emerge."

The part I underlined sounds similar.  Or as a friend of mine likes to say (and he may be quoting someone else), "You can do almost anything if you don't care who gets the credit."  So maybe Kierkegaard is saying something like, do what needs to be done, but if you're concerned about whether or not you will get the credit, you have a conflict of interest.

What do you think it means?

Randy

Please say some more about this Kierkegaard quote.  I don't understand it.

Thanks, Karen Bueno
