[Oe List ...] Talked to another old colleague

Today there was a memorial service at my local UMC church. Our new 
pastor conducted it, but a former pastor was invited  by the family 
to do the homily.  That was Jerry Carter, who now lives in the San 
Jose area.

Jerry Carter used to visit the San Francisco House, but he doesn't 
recall who the priors were at the time. (He was involved with EI from 
1965-1973 he said.) He said he knew people in Chicago better than 
people in the San Francisco House. He did help teach courses across 
the country and at Bob Stewart's church in San Francisco. Jerry was 
pastor of a church in San Francisco too, but I don't know which one. 
He remembers the Watsonville Cadre that I was part of before joining 
the Order.

It's great to meet people who share some common memory.
