I wonder if this dialogue could be aided by using the ToP Strategic 
Planning Process: Vision, Contradictions, Strategies. (That's probably far 
enough for a group as dispersed as we). Maybe we could begin with vision 
and answer the question: What would a solution look like? What are the 
dimensions of a viable, desirable health care system? (Not what we don't 
want, but what we do want, please.) I suspect we have a lot of agreement on 
that, but maybe not.

Then we can sort out what contradictions are blocking that vision (not 
what's wrong with the present system).

Our strategy question will be something like what can we do to address the 
contradictions?
