[Oe List ...] Why move?

Dear Pam -

When I heard that you and Terry had moved into 4750 again, I figured there
were several reasons - but the main one was that you wanted the simple
lifestyle again - and moving back to Kemper could help finance the
building. Your "it's not me" realization really spoke to me.

My "not me-ness" was articulated after I retired and had a hefty pension to
relate to. My "aha" was that I was not a good rich person. I could have
kept the pension for the time when I would go into a nursing home at 3000.00
a month - and it would have lasted two years. I wanted to spend it on
things that meant a lot to me -- things that would underwrite new Order
strategies. As the mystery would have it, I spent a weekend with John and
Lynda Cock as The Profound Journey was at a stage where we could do a
demonstration. ....and we did - here in Denver with no worries about the
financing of it. The two year journey of that program has been worth every
penny that I had the privilege of providing.

Another chunk went to take Paula, Nelson and Elaine with me to visit India
after 30 years. Oh how I have enjoyed giving my pension away!

Through mysterious moves in my life, I have discovered an apt. building for
retired educators. I will be paying 280.00 for a tiny buffet with balcony -
just my style. If I were in Chicago I would join you at Kemper except that
my budget could not afford it.

The mystery continues to move through our lives doesn't it?

with respect to you both,
jean in denver
