Thanks Nancy for letting us know of Fred's message the night he died. I have
held closely to this thought from Kazantzakis that we are finishing the work
of those who have gone before and our cry to those who succeed us is "finish
our work."

Dear Ellie,
Thank you for your words of love and beauty. I find our common
understandings and use of phrases so healing. Fred's words to so many of us
here at Songaia the night he died was, "finish our work". He passed
peacefully knowing that he had "finished his piece of the work" and passed
the torch on to the rest of us.
I am finding poetry so very helpful these days as colleagues move on in
their journey.
Thank you again, Elle for "What Hath the Potter Wrought?"
In gratitude,
Nancy

Dear friends,
Attached is a poem: What Hath the Potter Wrought?,
in memory of those who have completed the final pouring out of the vessel of
their lives;
in honor of those who continue the adventure of filling, serving, and
emptying the vessel of their lives on behalf of the vessel of the New
Creation.
Grace and peace,
Ellie Stock
