Isn't that Frank (then Bob) Knutson on the left in picture of Joe Slicker
speaking?

Photos are a treasure - we had little money to spend on film or
processing, let alone fitting a camera into our 2 suitcases!

Can't figure out how to "tag" these photos - but have some names to enter
into the mix:

The Band of 24 Banners: on the left - John Cock and Bill Bailey
Form the other direction: on the left - top of Warren's head & me; Kay
Hayes and Keith Packard (walking toward the camera)
Ready to Get Started: Joe and Marilyn Crocker; Keith Packard
Slicker Gives the Witness: Joe Slicker!; on the right are Bob and Cynthia
Vance (is that Shirley Henschen next to Bob?)

perhaps some of you can identify more folks and put them into the
repository?

thanks,
Geri Tolman

Gordon - I still could not get the one I pasted in (copied from below) to
work. However, the same URL from Tim's message worked. I have no idea why
- mystery abounds. My computer is both the presence of mystery (small m)
and the Wrath of God (definitely capitalized) in my life. I am most
grateful to you and Tim and others who know many of that mystery's pathways, and
are willing to share.

The pictures are great! From the expansive view of the great hall to the
key symbols ready for the common meal - wonderful. One more opinion - I
don't think you alone should have to try to tag all the faces! Who are these
young whippersnappers, anyway. When we look in our mirrors, can we still
see hints of them...

This is for the list servs - not just Gordon. One reaction I have is
enormous deep gratitude for what I, and all those in the picture and beyond,
were able to experience at that time in our lives, in that time of history.
Facing the task together, face to face in religious houses, centrums,
development treks, GRAs, etc. with all the joys, insights, and frustrations
these entailed! - was a huge gift. Now we don't have exactly the same
interpersonal frustrations - but new challenges as we deal with physical separation
yet technological connection possibilities. And aging! What in heck do
we do with all this wisdom! How can we plug it in to history, where we are
scattered, in a way that has a shot at being constructive? Questions to
live with right now. The good news - able colleagues are working on it, with
some exciting possibilities. So get thee to a face to face event when
you can - it may light up your life and empower your work.

Much affection to you, Gordon, and thanks for sharing with us all,
Janice Ulangca

Isn't that a great picture of Joe Slicker?

Jan --

Tim has been upgrading our website software today, which might explain the
difficulty. I also notice that there is a break in the URL, which
browsers don't deal with. Try this one, and close any breaks in the single line
when you paste it into Firefox.

Hope it works --
