The Jewell family is celebrating the completed of James Arthur Jewell who died last night at home.While he had esophageal cancer, congestive heart failure was the primary causeof death. A Celebration of Life and Death will be held February 7 at 3 pm at TheBrighton, the apartment complex where Jim and Dorothea live. Details will beforthcoming. 
 
Contributions in memory of him may be made to: 
National Parks Conservation Association, www.npca.org. Jim was a Ranger Naturalist in Rocky MountainNational Park in Colorado for a number of summers. He hadgreat passion for the role and place of the Parks in our national life and wasgreatly concerned about their future. 
Relief for Haitithrough Partners in Health, www.pih.org. This is the organization associatedwith Paul Farmer.
