Greetings!  I hope you'll join us tonight for "Reinventing the World:  
Creating a New Cosmic Culture" with Brian Swimme. The event will be held at 5:30 
 PM Pacific Time, 6:30 PM Mountain, 7:30 PM Central, 8:30 PM Eastern and 
1:30 AM  (January 29th) GMT.   
We are living in a moment of stark breakdown and dramatic creativity. The  
cosmological discoveries of the last 100 years have shattered many of  the 
foundations upon which our culture was built. These radical new  
understandings: that the Universe came into existence 13.7 billion years ago,  that it 
is clearly biased toward increasing complexity, that life and  intelligence 
are a nearly inevitable construction of evolutionary dynamics,  directly 
challenge us to reinvent civilization itself.
 
Brian Swimme, mathematical cosmologist and visionary author of The  
Universe is a Green Dragon and The Universe Story (with  Thomas Berry) will speak 
with us about re-imagining a new world, one that is  aligned with the 
intelligent, self-organizing, living Universe, so that instead  of degrading the 
Earth's living systems, we can join the great interconnected  community of 
living beings in a mutually enhancing embrace.
