[Oe List ...] Theological Justification for Football

Football is no different from war.  The older people con the younger
people into going out and getting themselves injured or killed so the
older people can sit at home and bragg about how great “we” did in the
game or in the war. Then we forget those who were killed or injured.
We keep applauding and never even image how we could show the younger
people “peace” instead of “war.”  Grace and Peace, Marge Philbrook
