[Oe List ...] Condolences

Dear Dorothea, Mark, Russell, Nathan and Diane,

Sandra and I want to express our condolences at Jim's passing.  We are  
very grateful for the opportunity last August to visit with you and  
Jim, and sad that so soon afterward he is gone.  We remember him  
fondly for his caring and willingness to challenge ideas and views.  I  
always enjoyed my working and conversations with Jim.  You knew he  
would talk straight and tell you the reality.

It was interesting to learn of his summers as a ranger, and as a  
champion for our national parks.  We will make a donation to the park  
service in his name.

Jim has passed through a door that we cannot enter, but we can stand  
at your side with love and support.
