Hi Dearest Lanphears, Nancy and Fred,

We deeply appreciated the update that you sent tonight -- as always
filled with profound reflections and timeless truths about TWLI.  You
continue to be Spirit Mentors to your colleagues, indeed.

First off, we were not aware of your surgery, Nancy, and hope whatever it
was, will evoke a strong positive report from your surgeon by the end of
this week!

How terrific there is new space for your family to stay and easily spend
time "hanging out" (Jon & Ben's term) with you both.  

Fred, I can't wait to learn how I might order your book (or books).  When
will it/they be available for colleague purchase?

Wow, the Songia vision never ceases to cloy.  I loved the notion that one
of your visions is for an elder home component, and that implementation
has already begun.

I'm wondering if the Patricia Newkirk (your new garden manager intern) is
any relation to the Patti Newkirk who was Ben Crocker's beloved
counsellor at  his first OE Camp in 1973 when he was just 3 years old. 
As Patti told us later, each morning Jon and Ben (housed in different
tents or whatever) would RUN down the hill toward where Daily Office was
celebrated and walk in, holding hands.  

If this is the Patti Newkirk we knew, please share this story with her;
if she is another Patricia Newkirk, tell her she has a strong and
respected name, and that many of us around the globe were touched by Bill
and Helen Newkirk's devotion to the care of planet earth.

July 4th is a super special day , now that we know it is your 51st
ANNIVERSARY!!  Thank you so much for sharing your key learning. 

We loved the chance recently to spend time with many colleagues at Abbey
North, hosted graciously by John and Thea Patterson, for a Mindfulness
Retreat, led by longtime colleague Larry Ward and his wife and new
colleague, Peggy Rowe.  It was replenishing, rejuvinating, reenergizing,
restorative, etc., etc.
