Jim, I have a photo similar to the one you have of the banner on the house
BUT I do not have a photo like the one below. Look at your cute young wife
and my cute young husband, David, over there on the right, and me in the
middle with such a short skirt on! What a wonderful time, Fifth City to the
World, and you and Alice along with Peggy, remember Peggy, were the spirit
center of it all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the photo and
for your very spiritual and special being-ness in history. Ann Stewart

Thanks Geri, I appreciate this information so that I can finally place some
of these photos.
Unfortunately, many of my negatives are deteriorating and require a large
amount of retouching.
Thanks again, Jim.

Jim,
East Lake Five was a neighborhood renewal project in Atlanta, Georgia -
right down the street from the famous East Lake Golf Course is located. It
wasn't an HDP - The Atlanta RH was part of it, along with local neighborhood
leaders who created the grid. The house was at 226 East Lake Drive, corner
of Memorial Drive and East Lake Drive - rumor has it that the actual red
brick house in which the RH resided was originally built by the founder of
the Coca Cola Company (Woodruff) as a wedding present for his daughter. Al
Lingo may have better info on this than my fading memory can recall.

As I am digitizing my photos from the 5th City Bahamas cruise in 1974, a
picture of the people on the trip working on 5th City--East Lake banner
shows up in the final stages of the trip. Does anyone remember where
the East Lake HDP was located? Also do we have any information about
the status of that HDP?
