what elections are for. As an additional note, this doesn’t mean that

results of elections are always wise, but the availability of elections
does
allow for a way to decide contested
matters. I’ve often wondered how the idea that people
are all
good and capable of exercising sound judgment through elections squares
with
Christian theology which regards most people as sinful in error and in
need of
