I am sorry to hear of the death of your brother Jack. The death of a sibling
is a poignant reminder of mortality. My prayers will be with you and Judy
during this journey.

Dear Colleagues (my family).
My only brother Bruce died this morning at 5 AM. He had just been
brought home for hospice care as he was suffering from congestive
heart failure and more recently cancer. He was 73, having been born
on September 4th 1936. He lived his whole life in Meadville PA except
for some work time in New Jersey and in Alaska, where as a civil
engineer he worked on the Alsakan pipeline. He loved the out of
doors, walking, swimming, and hunting. Besides civil engineering,
which was always his true love, he taught in high schools in the
Meadville area when there was not construction work he could do. He
is survived my his wife Carol and two sons, Tom (and his wife Carrie)
who also resides in the Meadville area, and Jim, who lives in Alaska.
Judy and I are leaving Mexico today and will travel to Meadville on
Monday. Funeral plans are not complete at this time.
I am resting easy in the arms of God, and I know my brother is
participating in the eternal life.
Grace and Peace,
Jack
