[Oe List ...] Bruce Gilles

Dear Jack,

We celebrate Bruce Gilles's completed life and send our prayers to you 
and your family. I found "Times of Tragedy and Moments of Grace" by John 
F. Baggett to be very helpful when my father died this last November.

I found to be reminded of the journey which happens when I do not want 
to accept what life has given me. First is denial (he is going to be 
just fine), then anger (blame and guilt), then negotiation (eternally 
and unreasonably positive... what ifs), and finally acceptance of the 
truth. Then on the other side of the acceptance of truth is the moment 
of Grace...I give thanks for life that I experienced because of the 
person he was and know that death is inevitable... is a gift, sheer gift.

I look for what I am grateful for each morning that I wake up.

May Grace much more abound,

and as always Grace and Peace is yours,
