The best I can believe with my skeptical mind, is Romans 14:8--"If I live,  
I live unto the Lord, and if I die, I die unto the Lord, and whether I live 
or  whether I die, I am the Lord's."  and a phrase from Kahlil  
Gibran--"the silent memory of God"
