[Oe List ...] Ageless wisdom

Yes, how memory fades – we shoot ducks in the south and pigeons in NY where BBill’s Wild West Show performed.

With kindest regards.

Dick

Someone with better memory than mine may have more insight, but I seem to remember this being read in the context of “All things pass away” and no matter how great – “who use to shoot 1-2-3 ducks just like that” when you are gone you are gone so “so how do you like your blue-eyed boy now, Mr. Death”.

This is not to say we do not revere and remember with gratitude our colleagues and friends and what they have done with their presence and their deeds, but we cannot bring them back. And with regards to ourselves, no matter what we may accomplish, we will also pass away.

With kindest regards.

Dear George, with Herman's request for people to stop dying, I am reminded of your quote "Buffalo Bill is Defunct". Obviously, I have heard this quote many times, but have not really understood it or had somebody explain it or the 'Jesus ' piece. Could you help?
Thanks,
Dick
