[Oe List ...] response to Jean Watts on Jeremy Rifkin

Last night I watched the movie Thrive, and found  it to be an illuminating 
narrative of where humanity is in the context of  biological and historical 
evolution. The narrator is a Gamble (of Proctor  and Gamble.) The way he 
lays out the Economic/Political allies and how they  create human suffering is 
amazing. A friend bought the movie he bought from _www.thrivemovement.com_ 
(http://www.thrivemovement.com) . It struck me as  a comprehensive picture. 
If anyone else has seen it, I'd love feedback.

about collaborative methods.  Rifkin makes the convincing point that the  
third industrial revolution (first one in 19th C, second in the 20th) is  
already happening as computer technology combines with alternative energy  
sources.  This revolution will be lateral rather than centralized or top  down. 
(i.e. Arab Spring and Occupy Wall Street) and thus collaborative.   This 
revolution is transforming energy, the economy and the world.  ICA  methods fit 
perfectly in this new mix.
