Thanks, Jim. In the movie, there's a lot of new age stuff (even
E.T.witnesses) before it gets to the economic/political stuff, which was a new way of
looking at the big banks/the military-industrial complex/oil companies and
big government's role in allying with them. At least it was new to me.

Also in the movie, a biologist speaks of how voracious caterpillars are.
They, like the "one percent" consume everything in their paths, until they
go dormant in the pupa stage and are digested as energy for the butterfly.
Wiping out greedy caterpillars would also wipe out butterflies.

I really appreciate your response. Any news on your daughter-in-law?

Blessings,
Jann

I wandered around the web site, Jann. Looks like almost the whole new age
movement is there . . .

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then
burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be
thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. Albert Schweitzer

Last night I watched the movie Thrive, and found it to be an illuminating
narrative of where humanity is in the context of biological and historical
evolution. The narrator is a Gamble (of Proctor and Gamble.) The way he
lays out the Economic/Political allies and how they create human suffering is
amazing. A friend bought the movie he bought from _www.thrivemovement.com_
(http://www.thrivemovement.com/) . It struck me as a comprehensive picture.
If anyone else has seen it, I'd love feedback.

I have just finished reading Jeremy Rifkin's book, The Third Industrial
Revolution, where he lays out what Jean watts is saying in her recent email
about collaborative methods. Rifkin makes the convincing point that the
third industrial revolution (first one in 19th C, second in the 20th) is
already happening as computer technology combines with alternative energy
sources. This revolution will be lateral rather than centralized or top down.
(i.e. Arab Spring and Occupy Wall Street) and thus collaborative. This
revolution is transforming energy, the economy and the world. ICA methods fit
perfectly in this new mix.
