[Oe List ...] Madeline Grace Wiegel died this morning

Dear Jim and Judy,

Just this morning Joe and I were fondly talking about the Wiegel clan,
and I recalled Shankar's moving e-mail/journal entries you shared with us
on several occasions since last summer.  I said to Joe, "We need to check
up on little Madeline Grace." And shortly thereafter your announcement
arrived.  We are so very sorry for your family's loss of this precious
little girl.

Shankar and Lisa have demonstrated amazing love and hope through this
long and difficult journey, as has, I'm sure, the entire extended family.
 May their strong faith sustain them in this time of grief, and may the
knowledge that colleagues around the world are holding them close in
hearts and prayers give them a measure of comfort.
