Sandra was so helpful to me during "Summer '72" when I was struggling with the responsibilities of giving leadership to one of the Sections.  She both affirmed that I could do what was needed with my group as well as confessing that she too sometimes felt overwhelmed by the demands.  Her strength of Spirit will never be overwhelmed by her physical struggles.  Mark Dove

Vigil Keepers,

Yesterday Sandra began a rapid decline. Bob has asked that we shift our prayers to aiding her transition to becoming pure spirit. He has asked for "short prayers, short poems, and words helpful to say aloud to her as she rests."

If you will send these to me I will compile them and send them to Bob. Bob and Rebecca Nichols are with Sandra now.

We are connected
John Muir said, “When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else
in the universe.” And many others have said likewise. As we take our turn in the vigil circle for
Sandra, it is clear that we are connected personally to her, and she to us. The energy we send
goes not only to Sandra but to each of us, and in turn by extension to the network of
relationships we all have.
