Dear Joe,
Thank you so much for this message. In the last weeks of her life Sandra was to weak to read or write her email. I would read them to her and she would dictate to me for her replies. I felt an acolyte at her feet. She burned brightly and spoke with a compassion from very deep.
Still the me that remains is she and me
And we want you to know we have and will always love you, our great colleague.

Bob and Sandra

Since it was a combination of a delayed 'Thank you' for her kind response to my Christmas Greeting, and an offering of comfort, I did not send it in as part of the prayer vigil. Then I saw LiDona's wonderful pull-together of the over whelming awe-filing responses. They are magnificent out-prourings of heart-felt diversities of care. I then felt my email to Sandra was an appropriate response to go with the collegial expressions. With One Love that embraces us all. Joe Slicker.

Start with ‘Be loving, kind, and compassionate with myself..’ Go into stillness and watch how the flow of forms of darkness and luminosity continually take place. Don’t make it heavy. Lightly watch the buoyancy of their dance as each flickers by.

Play with your nurses and hospital staff. Cry and scold if you must. When all this gets to be too much, continue or drop into stillness.…or take the morphine, and doze away. All and all, Love the one called Sandra.
