[Oe List ...] Bill and Barbara Alerding

Thanks George. Barbara Alerding played a critical role in the student house
when I first joined the Order in 1967. Bill has always been a dear friend
and colleague. They both have contributed so much.

Dear colleagues.

We just heard via Juaquina Rodreguez in Guatemala that Bill Alderding
suffered a heart attack and is in The hospital. We have called John Gibson
who investegated and found it to be true. Bills sister put an anouncement
out to personal fiends and their local network. Barbara has been in the a
hospital situation as well recovering from back problems. 

 

It sounds that both Bill and Barbara are surrounded by the care that they
need. The doctors want to keep Bill in the Intensive Care Unit to try to
avoid doing invasive surgery.  They hope that rehab can be effective. Not
knowing their e-mail situation it might be best to send "Ye old snail mail
card".
