Nancy,
Thank you for opening the windows for us - to Songaia, and to your own heart. The Simple Gifts song is wonderful, and I love your suggested last line.
On Monday evening I plan to share the song at a celebration for a graduating Binghamton University senior who has been part of a Compassionate Communication group since January.
Another person and I have the assignment of doing research on intentional communities (New Monasticism movement) for a Covenant Group in my church - which would like to host a live-in community to serve the low-income neighborhood around First United Methodist Church, Endicott, NY. The church already does serve in many ways. We are just getting started on our task - know of some UM Church-related communities. But the length and depth of Songaia's experience is unique - and we may want to talk with you about it later.
Thank you for enriching our life here!
Janice Ulangca

  Greetings to all,
My spinnings of this beautiful morning "as I sit here looking out of my window" at the beauty of our Planet Earth and my beloved community of Songaia. I hope the attachments can be open and shared with you.
Most of you will not recognize and now you will when you see it again - the lines above in quotes are my byline and one that puts me in a space of observing and being grateful .... I can truly see all kinds of things out of the window of my house and of my heart.
  Love,
  Nancy
