[Oe List ...] Moonine Walker's death

John and I met Moonine Walker at the Profound Journey Dialogue last year in
Phoenix and renewed acquaintaince with her husband Darrell.  They had moved
to the Phoenix area from the Sacremento area a few years previously and were
part of the Shadow Rock UCC where the PJD was being held.   Darrell and
Moonine were a big help in the set up and enablement of the PJD and made
very special table arrangements for each table.  We were saddened to learn
of Moonine's passing recently.
 
Darrell and Moonine attended their first RS-I in 1972 in Bartlettsville, OK.
They did a sojourn in the Tulsa House and worked with the Guardians.
Darrell went to India on a LENS trip some years ago.
 
Bill & Ginny Reece, Galaxy pastor family from Wichita, KS, are also now in
AZ and attend the Shadow Rock UCC where they became acquainted with Darrell
and Moonine. Bill participated in Moonine's memorial service and told of the
way this couple plugged right into the church when they arrived: Darrell put
his skills to work on the building while  Moonine's  fresh baked treats for
fellowship hour became a hit.  She also was instrumental in starting a book
club.  
 
The Memorial Service was held at sunset in the church's Festival Garden,
with Dr. Pepper toasts as friends and family shared memories of Moonine.

We celebrate the life of Moonine and send care to Darrell and their family.
