Michael--
S...t, I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out what to do in order to dialogue with you all when inspired by what Gene Marshall wrote. Michael, the system you've established is very confusing to enter; I suppose that being 77 does not help. Set up the system so that Everyman can enter the fray. Anyway, for what it is worth I offer the following reflection on living in the Other World discovered in the midst of This World. For me, this is what experience is like after RS-I. In a word is it FREEDOM!
Gene Marshall remains my Saint for his reflections that take us into the interior deeps. Always, he is remarkable in his development of metaphors to point to the reality of being when being is in relationship to Being itself.
The Other World, first noted by the Old Man himself, opened up an inner cave. My experience was like being sucked down in a crack-in-time into an inner darkness illumined by a Spirit glow of intense satisfaction.
Recently, I wrote to a college who experiences the same thing but who has none of the tools to describe the Really Real. She sent me information about 7 practices with which to start each day with a positive view. Of course, she was correct in noting these practices result in a positive relationship to human existence. Yet I told her that I didn't need them, because I'm never defined by life's circumstances. My freedom lies in obedience to that which is. The practice of this freedom is easy: relax and let things be. Don't sweat it.
On the other hand, Freedom also seeks to become as deeply involved as it is necessary. Always, and forever, we remain the demonstration of what it means to die to that which seeks to enslave us; damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!
We are free to be non-defined by life's experience, and we can choose to be defined by whatever we see leads to the experience of deep satisfaction.
After accepting her gift to me, I reminded her that my situation never defines me because my relationship to my situation is defined by the demonstration of dieing to the powers of victimization; I died a long time ago to allowing the victimization to define me. Rather, I choose to define my relationship to life's experiences by the axiom: All is Good, the Present is a Gift, the Past is Forgotten and the Future is Open. Somewhere along the line, we've called this the Good News. In other venues we called this Good News the Christ Event..
The consequence of living out of this maxim is my passion to get this Word into history. This is my motivation in the development of Gut Trip Analysis vs. Head Trip Analysis. The result is two books in print and eight more ready for editing.
Head Trip Analysis is characterized by Greek dualism in which the Meaning of Life is experienced as living absent from us in a Two-Story universe. It is from this position that the Meaning sends ambassadors to enlighten us with the message we live in Goodness. While this is a positive development, finally it is inadequate.
There is a more immediate system through which we can experience that Goodness is the rule and role of life. It is the demonstration that we can die to the power that seeks to define us instead of living by the demonstration that frees us.
The end result is that we already have within us the resources to live free and unencumbered by belief, ritual and roles. When finally we come to this state of Awakenement then we experience the Really Real: I am nothing because I am all that is necessary for the moment for which I am the sign and symbol.
Awaken to your inner cave and we'll meet on the Journey to The East.
    Inner Peace,
    Bill
