[Oe List ...] Appears the picture didn't make it

Dear Ones,

A few years ago Rite of Passage Journeys held an Elder Retreat, "When Autumn
Comes."  Stan Crow, Fred Lanphear and Edith Kusnic were the facilitators.
 Carol Crow, Jann McGuire, Don Bayer, Lela Jan, MARTIN HOWELL and I were
participants.  I was delighted to visit with Martin, share memories and hear
about his life in Yakima, WA.  Back in 19972 when we were packing our life's
belongings into the huge moving vans, Martin's family and ours were in the
same truck headed for the Southwest! = his to Tulsa, OK and ours to
Amarillo, TX!

A couple of weeks ago at a UCC church retreat, I met someone from Yakima who
shared the information that Martin had died.  It sounded like the funeral
was a large gathering of folks who loved Martin. I am grateful for the time
we spent together at the Elder retreat.
