Another great way to celebrate the 50th!  Looks beautiful.  If you're not careful, you're gonna attract all of us to come work on the archives partly to see (and taste?)  this wonder ...  Congratulations to you all.

  I forgot to point out (though maybe it is obvious) that one of the innovative features of the new kitchen is the green house that is in the larger corner. This is proving to be a big hit.

    Because many on this listserv either lived or worked at 4750 N. Sheridan in Chicago, I thought I'd share some news. During the past several months, the old grungy "commercial style" kitchen with walk-in refrigerators, etc., has been transformed into a new "shared family-style community kitchen." Last week, renovation work was finally completed and it was officially opened on Friday evening during an Inaugural Pot Luck Dinner. It was attended by residents of the building and their invited guests.
