Good work, Herman and CES. I especially like the little book that Herman reviewed, _Thomas Berry, Dreamer of the Earth_, that describes the depth of Thomas' message as well as anything I know, other than his own writing. Jan Sanders, who well understands Thomas' work, recommended the little book on the list a while back. Read Herman's review and chart the book.
Yes, we will all be at the ICA's 50th anniversary event in February here in North Carolina, catalyzed by the Stovers and Lynda, et al.
Profound 2012,
John

Subject: [Oe List ...] FW: CES Monthly Musings - September, October, November,December 2011 (published January 1, 2012)
All,
I am way late in getting out my Christmas or my New Year’s greeting. I worked the last couple of days on this issue of CES (Center for Ecozoic Societies) Monthly Musings. Some of you receive this regularly. If anyone else desires to receive it, let me know.
I would particularly call attention to the article by D. Paul Schafer below. EI/ICA always said “culture is the key” or we need to “re-balance the cultural dimension.” Paul Schafer has done more work on this than anyone of whom I know. He has published two important books: Culture Beacon of the Future, and Revolution of Renaissance: Making the Transition from an Economic to a Cultural Age. He heads up “The World Culture Project,” see http://www3.sympatico.ca/dpaulschafer/index.html .
As we prepare to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ICA, we might consider how to further this emphasis.
Herman
