[Oe List ...] Marking the Anniversary of Sandra's Death

Dear Bob and Family,

Judy and I stand with you in the marking the passing of Sandra's life.  I remember so well the two of you being on the health team in India.  In fact I was somewhat jealous that you were both applying your expertise in the practical care for the villages we were working with while I was in the swamp of trying to figure out economic ventures in villages that seemed hopelessly incapable to do hardly anything and I knew nothing about villages, small industries, or anything else regarding the task.  But what an adventure we all had and how much our lives were marked for ever by both the suffering we saw and the glory of the local people standing tall!

You ask for what we remember about Sandra.  There is but one thing that I always will relate to Sandra and that is her laugh.  Nobody had a laugh like hers!  It just pored over you like a rich bath of joy.  What a spirit woman she was, and I will always be grateful to have called her, and you, as friends and colleagues in the journey of Care for this planet and it's stewards.
