Email digest as of 4:43 pm, Arizona Time May 13, 2014

James

I’m attending this evening via Skype  from Costa Rica international phone bridge number.
Costa Rica is in a time zone equivalent to John Epps in Denver MDT-USA that is GMT-6
I think I mentioned earlier that my e-book text is embedded in the Amazon-Kindle proprietary context which does not offer page or paragraph annotations. It does have some kind of content index. See a screen shot of what it looks like on my iPad below: left “index numbers, right chapter hot-links”
I also have the Kindle version.  Some folks have that, some a pdf version, some hard copy.  I just used the “loc” numbers for reference.  Challenging, eh??
I should be able to make it, Jim. That’s 7 PM Denver time, so should be OK. Look forward to the conversations. So far, the book looks good.
John

I won’t be on today’s call – but will go get the book. First step, first.
Nancy

I am traveling this week with limited time for calls.  I will play catch-up next week.  I just started the book and am looking forward to the discussions.
Mary

I cannot participate at 6 PM Tuesday (May 13).  I have a board meeting at that time (I think CA and AZ are on the same time now).   Hopefully, I can catch up via the other strategies for being connected.

James, I would like to understand better your proposed agenda for tomorrow which is awfully short notice. I just received a copy of the book but have not had a chance to even open the cover yet. Are you planning to run this more like a traditional ICA book charting, or as an actual discussion group like a regular book study group, in which case the participants need to have actually read the material beforehand?
Margaret

Sorry for the short notice, Margaret.  I just thought I had better get started or I would put it off forever.  We will probably combine some book charting, some discussion.  At the moment, I am assuming we will use the calls to study / talk about the book.  No necessity to read beforehand, but always good.

Thanks for stepping up and introducing yourself. I’ve been curious about Ken Wilber’s work but never quite “cracked the code”.
I’m reading the Re-inventing Corporations on my iPad and I notice there are no page numbers so I’m a little concerned how I will find what others might see and talk about.
